AK-Moisture control system

The AK Moisture Ctrl banner moisture control system can evenly humidify the paper while providing the best banner curve. By humidifying one side of the paper web, on the one hand, it can effectively reduce the occurrence of ridges on the paper surface, and on the other hand, after the paper machine breaks or switches paper types, it can produce qualified paper more quickly. At the same time as improving the quality of paper, it also synchronously improves the winding problem of the coiler, thereby reducing the amount of paper loss. At the same time, it can enable the paper to obtain higher moisture content or faster speed in the winding section (which can be used for paper machines with a maximum speed of 1500 meters/minute and a maximum width of 8.5 meters).

Product Introduction

The AK-MoistureCtrl banner moisture control system evenly humidifies paper sheets while delivering the optimal cross-machine profile. By humidifying one side of the paper web, it effectively reduces ridge formation on the paper surface. After paper machine breaks or grade changes during start-up, it enables faster production of qualified paper. This system improves paper quality, addresses winding issues in the winder to reduce paper waste, and allows higher moisture content or faster speeds at the winding section (suitable for paper machines with max. speed 1,500 m/min and max. width 8.5 m).

Leveraging innovative nozzle and valve technology, AK-MoistureCtrl ensures optimal spray quality and precise spray monitoring for superior humidification performance.

Application 1
Install a paper web moisture control system with 50 mm spray zone width at the single-row dryer cylinders of the paper machine drying section to control the cross-machine moisture profile.

Application 2
Install a paper web moisture control system with 75 mm spray zone width to prevent paper edge warping and surface ridges.
